The cooperative was established in 1947, a challenging time for the Fuencaliente community. Local families persevered and made a living from it through hard work, sweat, and dedication. Over time, it became a home for the townspeople. Following the volcanic eruption in 1971, the cooperative adopted the name it is known by today: Bodega Teneguía, where 170 island families continue to work.

We are delighted to welcome guests to our winery. In addition to wine production, we offer activities and experiences for groups, cruise passengers, or individuals. Our goal is for you to observe firsthand the genetic, enological, and cultural heritage of our production.

Our winemaking expertise is closely tied to the historical cultivation of the Malvasía Aromática variety, resulting in wines highly regarded in the local restaurant market.
